On May 15th, 2023, the 6th China International Import Expo (Tanzania) Promotion was successfully held in Rotana Hotel, Dar es Salaam. Suo Peng, Chargé d 'affaires of China Embassy in Tanzania, Chu Kun, Economic and Commercial Counselor, Song Shangzhe, Deputy Director General of China International Import Expo Bureau, Tanzania Trade Development Authority(TANTRADE), Tanzania Private Sector Foundation(TPSF), Tanzania Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture(TCCIA), Zanzibar National Chamber of Commerce and Tanzanian Business representatives attended the promotion conference. Ms. Wang Xiangyu, General Manager of East Africa Commercial and Logistics Center Management Co., Ltd. (EACLC LIMITED) was invited as guest of honour to deliver a speech.

At the conference, Song Shangzhe, deputy director general of China International Import Expo Bureau, introduced the venues, activities and preparations for the 6th China International Import Expo(CIIE), and expressed the hope to turn the China market into a great opportunity for Africa, and Tanzanian enterprises were warmly welcomed to participate in the 6^th China International Import Expo(CIIE) to explore the China market and share the opportunities of China's economic development.

Ms. Wang Xiangyu, General Manager of EACLC LIMITED said that as a Chinese-funded company, she actively participated in the annual China International Import Expo, and had been entrusted by the Tanzanian Embassy to China for three consecutive years to represent Tanzanian enterprises and promote Tanzania's high-quality organic products in China. At the same time, the company had organized China enterprises to go out together participating in the largest international trade fair in East Africa-Dar Salaam Internationa; Trade Fair (DITF) (also named SABA SABA exhibition) over the past two consecutive years to explore the African markets and achieved good results. In 2023, it was authorized by Tanzania Trade Development Authority as the exclusive coordinator of the 47th DITF in China, and will continue to organize more China enterprises from Shandong, Zhejiang and Hunan to expand the vast Africa markets. After the promotion conference, China International Import Expo Bureau signed strategic cooperation agreements with Tanzania Private Sector Foundation, Tanzania Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture and East Africa Commercial and Logistics Center Management Co., Ltd.
